Orders take 1-3 business days to process before shipping. All shipping costs are calculated based on each item's destination and dimensions. Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation to the e-mail address you provided at checkout. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation of shipment + tracking info. PRODUCTS OR SERVICES + RETURN POLICY

All vintage items on sale are final sale and each piece is one of one, without exception unless otherwise stated. Items are not eligible for return, refund, cancellation or exchange (unless there is an error in processing an order on our end). All our items are preloved vintage items. Our pieces may have slight signs of wear due to its age. Some examples of minor flaws include, but are not limited to; pilling, markings, discolorations, loose threading, missing original buttons etc. We do our best to disclose any major imperfections that can be seen from the outside of the piece in the description of each item, but we may overlook slight imperfections.

 

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We do have extremely strict quality standards and are committed to selling the highest-quality vintage clothing possible. Items that effect wearability are not generally considered. Unless an item is so incredibly unique, we may make an exception while providing a complete description of wear and tear marks. Please purchase with an open mind to embrace the beauty of such vintage items that seek to be loved way beyond their trending years. 

All of our pieces are always cleaned before being sent off to you.

beyondheryears is not responsible for any problems that may occur during shipment. If the package comes back to us (unclaimed/incorrect address, etc) the customer must pay the shipping fee again.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of content thereof) without notice at any time. FAQ's

Can I place an order from outside the U.S.? 

Currently, we ship orders to all 50 U.S. states. Keep an eye out as we hope to open up to more countries in the future through our website. We do offer limited international shipping to certain countries. Though, this must be arranged through messaging us on our IG page @beyondheryears.co and payments are generally made through PayPal. 

How much does shipping cost?

We use Real Time Shipping Calculation with USPS, meaning the USPS calculator provides approximate, dynamically-calculated shipping rates based on the weight and dimensions of the order, and on the shipping cost to and from addresses. Most small weight packages cost approx. $4.50 and single items weighing approx. 2lb. cost between $7.00-8.50. 

How are your vintage items priced?

When pricing our vintage inventory we consider several factors: vintage era of the item, rarity, uniqueness of design, fabric type, and condition for its age. Generally, items priced higher are one-of-one rare pieces that are in excellent condition and made from fabrics such as cotton, silk or linen. We also factor in how much it cost us to source our inventory and we look at other competitors in our market sphere to price our items at a reasonable price for you.

How are measurements taken?

Measurements are taken flat. Length - from neckline to bottom of garment. Sleeve length - from armpit to end of sleeve. Pit to pit - flat across chest area. 

Can I modify or cancel my order after it's been placed? 

Our team is very small and works quickly to process orders in a timely manner. Cancellations are not allowed, modifications are not guaranteed and not encouraged. Please make sure your order is correct and complete at checkout.

How do I take care of my vintage treasures? 

You can take care of your vintage treasures at home in a sustainable way. Wash as needed - only washing your garments when they need it will conserve their lifetime and save water. Hand wash in cold water - heat can break down fibers and potentially fade and/or shrink your garments. Air-dry your garments - air drying is a great alternative to not expose garments to harsh heat. Air dry your garments outdoors on a clothesline, or indoors on a clothing rack.

Is beyondheryears hiring?

We are currently a one person hand-curated online vintage shop + online marketplace for other female creatives, but we are seeking to grow into an in-house story-telling + creative content platform. We do not yet have opportunities to sustain part/full-time employees. However, if you see yourself being a part of the growth of beyond her years and identify strongly with our mission statement, we encourage you to apply for an internship which may lead to a part/full-time opportunity as funds become available. All interns will be paid a small flat project-based rate which is subject to change based on the magnitude of the project + skill required.
